Fetal growth assessment is a cornerstone of modern obstetric practice. This specialized course offers a comprehensive overview of
fetal biometry, growth patterns, and their clinical significance, combining in-depth lectures with practical, hands-on ultrasound training.
Part I – Oral Session
3 hours, Holiday Inn, Skopje — up to 120 participants
- Pregnancy Dating
- Fetal Biometry
- Amniotic Fluid and Placenta
- Maternal and Fetal Doppler
- FGR (Fetal Growth Restriction): Diagnosis and Management
- Normal Growth in Twin Pregnancies
- Examples and Questions
Part II – Practical Training (Hands-on)
University Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Skopje — limited to 25 trainees
- Small groups of 5 trainees per ultrasound machine.
- Every trainee will scan at least one pregnant woman under specialist supervision.
- Training covers fetal biometry and maternal & fetal Doppler studies.
Capacity: Oral Session — 120 • Hands-on — 25
Everyone must register for the course. Hands-on applicants will be selected by trainee year (senior trainees prioritized).
